Jungwon Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has established and publicly disclosed this personal information processing policy in accordance with Article 30 of the 'Personal Information Protection Act' to protect the personal information of data subjects and to quickly and smoothly handle any related grievances.
Article 1 (General Provisions)
1. "Personal information" refers to information about a living individual that can identify the individual by name, resident registration number, image, etc. (including information that, even if it alone cannot identify a specific individual, can be easily combined with other information for identification).
2. The Company places great importance on protecting customers' personal information under the 'Information and Communications Network Utilization Promotion and Information Protection Act' and 'Personal Information Protection Act' and other related laws regarding personal information protection, and complies with all relevant regulations.
3. The Company informs users through its personal information processing policy about the purpose for which personal information provided by users is being used, what measures are being taken to protect personal information, and what procedures and methods users should follow if they wish to stop using their personal information.
4. This policy may be revised due to changes in laws or company guidelines, and in case of revision, the Company will announce it through website notices, etc.
Article 2 (Consent to Collection of Personal Information)
Users can consent by selecting "Agree" to the procedures established by the Company for the collection of personal information.
Article 3 (Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information)
The Company does not collect personal information that may infringe on users' basic human rights, such as race, ethnicity, ideology, creed, place of origin, place of family registration, political orientation, criminal record, or health status. Personal information collected with users' consent is used for the following purposes:
- Member identification in services provided by the Company
- Sending marketing and advertising information and promotional materials with user consent
Article 4 (Viewing and Correction of Personal Information)
1. Users can view or correct their registered personal information at any time. To view or correct personal information, click on 'Change Personal Information' (or 'Edit Member Information') and proceed directly, or contact the personal information protection manager via written document, phone, or email for processing.
2. If a user requests correction of an error in personal information, the Company will not use or provide the relevant personal information until the correction is completed. Additionally, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the Company will notify the third party of the correction result without delay.
Article 5 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)
Users' personal information is promptly destroyed when the purpose of collection and use is achieved. However, if it is necessary to retain information for a specified period in accordance with relevant laws, the Company will retain member information for that period as follows:
- Retention item: Service use records, access logs
- Basis for retention: Article 41 of the Framework Act on Telecommunications
- Retention period: 3 months
Article 6 (Use for Other Purposes and Provision to Third Parties)
The Company uses the personal information provided by users only within the scope notified or for purposes allowed by law, and does not provide this information to third parties without the user's prior consent. However, exceptions are made in the following cases:
1. When users have given prior consent
2. When there is a legal provision or request from an investigative agency according to the procedures and methods prescribed by law for the purpose of investigation
Article 7 (Consignment Processing of Personal Information)
The Company may consign users' personal information to specialized external companies when necessary for better services. If the Company consigns the processing of personal information when entering into a consignment contract, it will specify matters regarding the prohibition of processing personal information beyond the purpose of performing consigned work, technical and administrative protection measures, restrictions on re-consignment, management and supervision of trustees, and liability such as compensation for damages, and supervise whether the trustee handles personal information safely.
If the content of the consigned work or the trustee changes, the Company will disclose this through this personal information processing policy without delay.
Article 8 (Collection of Personal Information through Cookies)
The Company does not use cookies that collect personal information automatically.
